The professional golfer joins Villarreal CF’s successful support project for athletes

Professional golf player, Natalia Escuriola Martínez, officially joins the Endavant Esports project that provides different resources to many elite athletes, both on an economic and sports level, giving them access to facilities and health care through the club.

In this way, Villarreal continues to play its part, as it has been doing now since 2004. The help the club offers has not stopped increasing season after season and a great amount of athletes have benefited from this support.

Natalia Escuriola started to play golf at 4 years old, thanks to her father’s example, and since then has not stopped in her pursuit to keep improving as an athlete. At 15 years old she was accepted into the ‘Blume’ National School, where she lived with several other of the most promising Spanish golfers. Due to her progress she ended up being called up to the national team for various international competitions.

After the 2013 season, which was decisive in her rise as an amateur athlete, she won the ‘Disa Campeonato de España’ tournament for professionals, in her first week as a professional golfer (September, 2015). Shortly after her victory came in the WPGA International Challenge, where she placed second in the order of merit for the ‘Let Access Series’, winning her the right to play in the Ladies European Tour in 2016.
