Villarreal secures the sixth place in La Liga qualifying for the 2015-16 UEFA Europa League

The Submarine has reached its goal once again. The sixth place that allows the Yellows to take part in the UEFA Europa League next season is mathematically ours despite there are still two more matches to be played. Villarreal secured its position after winning against Elche with a goal scored by Joel Campbell (1-0). The match was very close and Villarreal had to work really hard to get the 3 points against a rival that fought back and that never surrendered.

This will be the tenth European tournament participation for Villarreal in the 21st century, joining the exclusive group of Spanish top 6 teams with most European appearances these past years.
