The Villarreal B boss highlighted that the Mini Submarine will look to play to their strengths against Nàstic de Tarragona (Saturday, 5pm CEST).
The manager of Villarreal B, Miguel Álvarez, appeared remotely before the media on Thursday to analyse the upcoming fixture against Nàstic de Tarragona (Saturday, 5pm CEST). The Yellows coach highlighted the difficulty of the game, but said that his side are prepared and motivated ahead of the match-up: “This phase of the competition will help a lot with the development of our players on a professional and personal level. We want to win and we are going to demand a lot from ourselves.”
In terms of analysing the opponent, Álvarez said that: “Nàstic have a fantastic squad and have remained at the top of the Catalonian group. They have some very interesting players, are very strong and direct, and are very effective from set-pieces.”
To begin this phase of the competition with a win, Miguel Álvarez stressed the need for his side to continue playing the way they know best; “We are going to be very demanding of ourselves, respecting our style of play, and we will search for their weaknesses with our inside play and our speed out wide. The boys have to be themselves, believing in their talent and playing with freedom.”
