Villarreal Women have extended the contract of the young, promising academy talent
Villarreal Women and María Romero have reached an agreement to see the midfielder sign a new contract until 2026.
María Romero Catalán (Castelló, 31/01/2005) is a talented and promising footballer. She is excellent technically, and has great dribbling ability with the ball at her feet. Aged just 18, the midfielder, who has played largely for the B team, has already made her first-team debut in Liga F, against Levante UD, and in the Copa de la Reina, against RCD Espanyol.
