The defender is back with to the Yellows to strengthen Villarreal Women’s back line
Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with attacking full-back, who will represent the Yellows until 2024. The footballer, from Castellón, who joins from Levante UD, will continue her recovery process with Villarreal after tearing her anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee earlier this year.
Versatility and power for the Yellows
Lucía Gómez Garcia (11/10/1996) returns to the club that saw her grow and form as a player and person. She joined the Yellows in the 2006/07 season, as an U11. She then reached the first team, aged just 15, playing in the second tier in the 2013/14 season.
After seven seasons with Levante UD, she returns to the club where it all started for her, looking to bring power, versatility and her ability to join the attack.
She has represented Spain at youth level, and was called up by the senior squad in 2018.
