The Argentine footballer has completed his official photo session and passed his medical with the club
Giovani Lo Celso experienced his first day as a Villarreal CF footballer this Thursday. The new Yellows signing landed at Valencia Airport at 9am CET after being with Argentina, with whom we played two matches, against Chile (1-2) and Colombia (1-0).
After arriving in Spain, the new midfielder for the Submarine stepped on the Estadio de la Cerámica pitch for the first time, before having an official photo and video session with his new club. He also got to know the El Ceramista restaurant. Then, the Argentinean underwent his medical, alongside ASISA, at the Vithas Hospital in Castellón.
Lo Celso will take part in his first training session as a Villarreal player this Friday, at 10:30am CET, under the orders of Unai Emery alongside his new team-mates. After training, at 12:30pm CET, he will appear in front of the media in a virtual press conference, where he will speak for the first time to the press after joining Villarreal CF, accompanied by a member of the board.
