The new Villarreal CF Manager, Javi Calleja, has chosen his 18 players for this Sunday’s LaLiga Santander match against Girona FC. The match, corresponding to Matchday 8, will be played at the Estadio de Montiliv at 4:15pm CEST (live on beIN LaLiga).
18 chosen players:
- Goalkeepers: Barbosa and Cantero.
- Defenders: Mario Gaspar, Rukavina, Jaume Costa, Álvaro, Víctor Ruiz and Bonera.
- Midfielders: Trigueros, Rodrigo, Soriano, Samu Castillejo, Fornals and Ramiro Guerra (number 26).

Travel plan to Girona
Villarreal CF will take off from Castellón Airport this afternoon at 7pm, with arrival to Girona airport at 7:50pm. Once there, the Yellows will be transported to the Hotel Meliá Girona by coach. The Yellows will begin their return journey on Sunday 15th October, with arrival to Castellón airport at 8:10pm, approximately.
