Fran Escribá has released the list of players he will be taking to the Salto del Caballo stadium
Villarreal CF Manager, Fran Escribá, has chosen his list of players for tomorrow’s match, corresponding to the first leg of the Round of 32 of the Copa del Rey, against CD Toledo at the Salto del Caballo stadium (Wednesday 7pm CET, live on beIN La Liga Max 3).
The chosen 16 players are:
- Goalkeepers: Barbosa and Andrés Fernández.
- Defenders: Mario, Rukavina, José Ángel, Bonera, Álvaro and Musacchio.
- Midfielders: Jonathan dos Santos, Rodrigo, Trigueros, Cheryshev and Samu Castillejo.
- Strikers: Sansone, Santos Borré and Bakambu.
Medical update:
- Soldado: Tear of anterior cruciate ligament and lateral meniscus in right knee.
- N’Diaye: Elongation of rectus femoris in right leg.
Toledo travel plan
The Yellows expedition will depart via AVE (high speed train) at 5:10pm from the Joaquín Sorolla train station in Valencia with destination Madrid Puerta de Atocha station, where expected arrival time is 6:52pm. Once in Madrid, the team will travel by coach to Toledo and will be staying in the Eurostars Palacio Buenavista hotel. The return joruney is expected to depart as soon as the match has finished.
