Fran Escribá has decided to take all avaliable players for this Thursday’s match at the Olimpico (7pm CET)
The Villarreal CF Manager, Fran Escribá, has chosen 22 players from the First Team squad for tomorrow’s match, corresponding to the return leg of the Round of 32 of the UEFA Europa League, against AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico (7pm CET, live on beIN Sports). All players will travel, apart from Nicola Sansone who is having trouble with his right hamstring.
The 22 players travelling are:
- Goalkeepers: Asenjo, Andrés and Barbosa.
- Defenders: Mario, José Ángel, Jaume Costa, Álvaro, Bonera, Rukavina, Musacchio and Víctor Ruiz.
- Midfielders: Bruno, Rodrigo, Trigueros, Roberto Soriano, Jonathan dos Santos, Cheryshev and Samu Castillejo.
- Strikers: Soldado, Bakambu, Santos Borré and Adrián López.
Injured
- Nicola Sansone: Right hamstring.
Travel plan
The Yellows expedition will set off at 11am from Castellón Airport to Roma-Fiumicino International Airport. Once there, the Submarine will stay at the Parco Dei Principi Grand Hotel & SPA. The return journey will get underway as soon as the match has finished, also by plane, with ETA in Castellón at 12:45am early on Friday morning.
