Fran Escribá chooses 19 players for this Saturday’s match at the Camp Nou (6:30pm CET)
Villarreal CF Manager, Fran Escribá, has chosen his list of players for tomorrow’s match, corresponding to Matchday 36 of the LaLiga Santander, against FC Barcelona (6:30pm CET, live on beIN LaLiga).
The chosen 19 players are:
- Goalkeepers: Andrés Fernández and Barbosa.
- Defenders: Mario, Jaume Costa, José Ángel, Musacchio, Álvaro, Rukavina and Bonera.
- Midfielders: Rodrigo, Trigueros, Roberto Soriano, Samu Castillejo and Jonathan dos Santos.
- Strikers: Soldado, Bakambu, Adrián López, Sansone and Santos Borré.
Injured:
- Asenjo: Tear of anterior cruciate ligament in left knee.
- Cheryshev: Septal fibrosis in right rectus femoris.
- Víctor Ruiz: Cartilage damage in left ankle.
- Bruno: Patellar tendonitis in left knee.
Travel plan
The Yellow expedition will set off at 4:00pm this afternoon by coach from the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva) to Barcelona. Once there, the team will stay at the Renaissance Barcelona Fira Hotel. The Yellows’ return journey will commence as soon as the match has finished also by coach.
