The Jamaica international signs a one-year contract extension with Villarreal Women
Villarreal CF and Kayla Jay McKenna (03/09/1996, Illinois, United States) have reached an agreement to extend the contract of the American-born player, who is a Jamaica international, to continue playing for Villarreal Women for another season. McKenna will be tied to the Yellows until 30th June 2025.
Physical power in attack
Kayla McKenna has emerged as one of Villarreal Women’s most dangerous attackers. In fact, in the current 2023/24 season, the player has played a total of 1,045 minutes in 13 matches -starting 12 of them-. In addition, her great physical ability and speed, as well as the intelligence she has shown to move on the pitch with and without the ball, have allowed her to be one of the key players in attack for the Submarine, with three goals and two assists to her name.
