Mario Gaspar emphasised his side’s great attitude against Cádiz (0-0)
Villarreal CF captain Mario Gaspar spoke to Villarreal TV to analyse to the level of his team’s performance in the draw against Cádiz at the Estadio Ramón de Carranza (0-0): “We were aware of the difficulty of the game. We had worked on how to hurt them, but they were very well organised and disciplined. I’m happy with the personality and competitiveness showed by my teammates.”
The Yellows captain was pleased with his team’s defensive growth: “To keep a clean sheet is always good for our aspirations. Of course we want to win, but not conceding goals is going to allow us to pick up lots of points. Keeping a clean sheet and being well-positioned at the back means from there we can also grow in attack.”
