Here you will find everything you need to know if you are going to the Europa League final
Dear fan, thanks for accompanying us to Poland in a historic moment for Villarreal CF, and for everyone who is part of the Yellows family. Experiencing a European final is a landmark for our club and nothing excites us more than being able to share it with you, following all of the security and healthcare guidelines. We are going to have a great time, but we are going to be responsible at the same time (see guidelines).
Below, if you are going to be part of the part of the trip organised by the club, you will be able to find crucial information about the organisation of the trip and the match:
TRIP INFORMATION
- The Villarreal CF travel agency is contacting with fans to communicate their travel plan to them: time of departure of bus and flight, as well as the assigned plane.
- The planes will be identified by a set colour, which will be the same that will be used to separate groups during various transfers. Fans will need to stay with the same colour for the bus and the plane, with the aim of creating ‘bubble groups’. This colour will be the same for the whole trip. Bracelets of the corresponding colour will be handed out to facilitate identification.
- In each flight, there will be members of the organisational team, who will be identified, to help if necessary.
- Flights will leave Castellón and Valencia airports both the day before the game (Tuesday 25th) and the day of the game (Wednesday 26th).
- Those flying from Valencia Airport will have buses leaving from outside IES Broch I Llop in Vila-real, while those who are flying from Castellón Airport will have buses from the meeting of Avenida Europa and Avenida Grecia in Vila-real.
- Fans who want to arrive at the airport themselves will need to arrive at check-in two hours before the flight departs.
- Once in the airport, as part of the established protocol, all fans will need to pass through the check-in desk to show documentation.
- A negative COVID-19 PCR test will need to be shown.
- Minors travelling without both parents will need to have Police or Civil Guard authorisation.
- We recommend that those travelling travel with hand baggage and do not check in bags, to try and make the trip easier.
- In the airport, you will be handed an ANIMATION KIT made up of a bag, scarf, mask and clappers, to fill the Gdansk Stadium with Yellows.
- The MATCH TICKET will be handed out in the airport in Spain, at the check-in desk when the documentation is shown, or on the plane.
- During the flight, drinks will be provided, but for sanitary reasons, you will NOT be able to eat.
- The Yellows’ flights will land at Terminal 1 at Gdansk Airport. Once there, they will travel with the colour of their bubble to the stadium parking area. The buses to return after the game to the airport will stay there.
- This area is exclusively for Villarreal CF fans, and is next to the southern part of the stadium (the opposition fans will be in the northern part).
- There are portable toilets and there will be food and drink on sale throughout the day.
- This zone will also have free transport (showing the ticket), for those who want to visit the centre of Gdansk, leaving you at Bogusławskiego Stree.
- From the same place where the transport leaves you can get it back to the stadium.
- You cannot eat or drink in the buses.
MATCH INFORMATION
- Villarreal CF fans, in the southern part of the stadium, will need to use GATE 8 for access.
- The stadium will open at 6pm local time.
- Arriving early for kick-off (9pm local time) is recommended to pass the exhaustive controls.
- It is not necessary to show the negative PCR to access the stadium, only the match ticket.
- Smoking in the stadium is not permitted.
- The bars in the stadium will be open to buy food and drink.
IMPORTANT
- For any issues, the club will have a help point for supports at Hotel Hampton, Lektykarska 4, 80-831 Gdańsk.
