The Villarreal players have returned to training with their teammates after winning Olympic medals
Álex Baena and Ilias Akhomach have returned to Villarreal after their successful respective campaigns at the Olympic Games, where both players won historic medals in Paris. Both players returned to training on Tuesday alongside their teammates under the orders of Marcelino García Toral.
Baena returns to the Submarine after a dream summer, in which he won the European Championship and then gold at the Olympic Games in just under two months. Akhomach was one of the key members of the Moroccan side that won the Olympic bronze.
