Fran Escribá and Nicola Sansone were optimistic ahead of the European tie against AS Roma
Thye Villarreal CF Manager, Fran Escribá, and the Submarine’s Italian-German forward, Nicola Sansone, were excited ahead of the UEFA Europa League Round of 32 tie against AS Roma. The first leg will be played this Thursday at the Estadio de la Cerámica (9:05pm CET). Both Fran Escribá and Nicola Sansone stated that the Yellows have a good chance of winning this round against the Italian side, that are currently in second place in Serie A, if they play to their best.
Fran Escribá: “If we give everything, we can beat anyone. This is a lesson we have to learn”.
“We don’t have to ask anything of the fans, we have to give to them. We know they will be right there with us at every moment”.
“This is one of those games which nobody can hide in. We’re going to play against a great team, a side with lots of quality in the squad as well as plenty of experience in European football”.
