Villarreal Women lost to Madrid CFF (0-3) at the Villarreal CF Training Ground. Sara Monforte’s side suffered a harsh result against the side from the Spanish capital, who took the three points from their visit to Vila-real with a Silvia Rubio double and a Geyse goal.
The Submarine started the game well, and were the better side for the first half hour until the away side took the lead with a great goal. With the scoreline against them the Yellows tried to turn things around with Pancha Lara finding Sheila Guijarro various times, but her efforts were kept out by the Madrid CFF goalkeeper.
In the closing stages of the match, with the Yellows in attack, the side from Madrid increased their lead with another two goals. Monforte’s team are back in action on Wednesday 10th November at 12pm CET against UD Granadilla Tenerife.
