A picture for the photo album to celebrate the upcoming Father’s Day in Spain next Tuesday. Villarreal first-team players and coaching staff took photographs with their children on the Estadio de la Cerámica just before kick-off against Rayo Vallecano. A precious snapshot!
This was not the only initiative put forward by the club to celebrate Father’s Day in Spain though. Outside the Estadio de la Cerámica, there was a very special edition of the ‘3v3 Groguet’ tournament with fathers and their children taking part. A special mention needs to be made for former Villarreal player and current Institutional Relations department member Marcos Senna, who also took part in the tournament, alongside his children.
Finally, in the Fan Zone, there were also activities like Super Yellow Dad, where children and their fathers competed as partners, taking part in a number of challenges and entering a prize draw for a trip with the first time. There were activities for all the family, and there was also a performance from the Colombian acrobatic company Chiminigagua.
