Raúl Albiol underlines the importance of showing in Mallorca the level of performances shown during home games
Villarreal defender Raúl Albiol appeared in front of the press this lunchtime to analyse the current goings-on regarding the Yellows, who face RCD Mallorca this Sunday (12pm CET). The centre-back highlighted the importance of being capable of showing the high level they show at the Estadio de la Cerámica away from home: “We have really good moments at home. This team always competes, but away from our stadium, some points have got away from us. We want to improve on that. We want to feel more comfortable away from home and get the three points.”
Furthermore, the Yellows No.3 warned about the lack of difference between teams in the league: “It’s all very tight. The teams that have come up are very competitive and for them getting points at home is really important to try and stay up. We want to get more points away from home. That’s the mentality we need to have in Mallorca, try and perform well and win in San Moix.”
Finally, the Spain international recognised feeling comfortable with the Yellows: “I am very happy. I like the way the team plays and I feel very comfortable playing like that.”
