Villarreal B beat Hércules thanks to goals from Lozana and Akale in a great performance by the Yellows

Villarreal B got a prestigious win against Hércules at the Rico Pérez (2-1). Miguel Álvarez’s came away from the three points at an imposing stadium, after coming back with two goals from Lozano and Akale. The opening goal of the game, from the side from Alicante, came from Yeray.

After a great start from the home side, Hércules went ahead on the scoreboard with half an hour on the clock. Yeray made the most of a rebound in the box to open the scoring. The Yellows kept their heads high and got the comeback before the break. In the 40th minute, the referee pointed to the penalty spot after a foul by Nani. Edu Espiau stepped up to take the spot-kick. His effort was saved, but Lozano got the rebound to level the tie.

The Mini Submarine dominated the second half. The Yellows took control of the ball and kept the home side quite. In the 66th minute, after a great piece of individual play, Akale scored the winner, beating Falcón. Álvarez’s side had a number of chances to score in the second half, and came away with three points from one of the toughest grounds to play at in the league.
