Villarreal striker Giovani dos Santos has been summoned by the national team of Mexico for the World Cup in Brazil, which will be held between June 12th and July 13th. It will be the second World Cup for the Mexican player, who already played the South African edition in 2010, in which Mexico reached the knockout stages.
Gio accumulates no less than 73 matches with its national team, in addition to nine with the U23, six with the Under-20 and Under-8 17.
