The club has launched an initiative with the aim of collecting elements relating to the club’s history
Get involved with the building of the historical archive! Villarreal CF, in collaboration with the Jaume I University in Castellón, the Vila-real Town Council and a group of fans called ‘Amics del Club’, have launched the Historical Archive, a project that aims to collect all sorts of material linked to the club, to construct and enjoy once more different eras from the Submarine’s history.
This is an initiative that, in the club’s centenary year, is here to stay and with a mission to reclaim our roots and strengthen the foundations of the club going forward. To do so, Villarreal CF has invited its fans to donate or loan photos, videos, objects or documents that could be useful for such a quality historical archive.
Fans can contact the club to take part in the initiative by filling in the online form on the club’s website, by phone (+34 964 500 250) or by going to the Town Centre store (Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am to 3pm and from 5pm to 8pm).
Fans who will have the chance to donate or loan the element in question. Club employees will get in contact with the relevant person to co-ordinate who to donate the object in question.
The club is working on the new museum at the Estadio de la Cerámica, as well as in the tour that will be able to take place in it, and because of this, the creation of this Historical Archive is more important than ever. In the archive, fans will be able to see their help recognised, as each exhibition will indicate who has donated which object.
