The Catalan striker highlighted that Villarreal are playing well and underlined that the team are heading in the right direction
Villarreal forward Gerard Moreno appeared in front of the press this this lunchtime after the morning training session. The Catalan attacker has good feelings about how the season has started: “We’re feeling good. We would like to have more points. We should have more from the performances we’ve put in, but we’re on the right track. Now we have the international break that will help us improve and work hard.”
With three goals scored, Gerard is joint top scorer in LaLiga. The Catalan striker is going through a great moment: “The coaching staff are placing a lot of trust in me. I feel important and I’m happy to be able to help my team-mates. The goals are going in, we’re in a good place, but we only have two points and we need to start taking the three points when we can.”
