

A total of nine players formed at Primer Toque CF currently play in Villarreal’s academy
In May 2015, Villarreal CF and Primer Toque CF signed a collaboration agreement which continues to bear fruit. There have now been nearly four years of a fruitful relationship between to clubs with a similar philosophy.
Since then, a total of nine players have gone from wearing orange to yellow. A transfer of players which allows the youngsters to carry on growing. Nerea Vicente, Natalia Centelles, Cosmin Ionut, Borja Marzá, Mario Romero, Iker Adelantado, Manuel Gozalbo, Mauro Roca and Aleix Ferrer all knew what it was like to be successful with Primer Toque before moving to the Yellows Academy. Their future looks bright.
One of those lucky players is Mario Romero, who this season joined the Yellows youth set up to form part of Pre Benjamín A (U8s A). “Everything I learned with Primer Toque has been very important for me and now I’m happy at Villarreal. I am taking part in really cool tournaments and I’ve had the opportunity of playing against sides like Barça. We play in the league for the Valencia area and at the moment we’re towards the top,” says the young footballer.
Villarreal has this sort of agreement with a total of nine different clubs: CD Roda, Primer Toque CF, Escuela de Fútbol Torre-Pacheco, Kelme CF, CD Oliver, UD Alginet, A.D.I.U.R., Mislata Unión de Fútbol and CD Floresta.
Primer Toque CF was founded in 2011 and since then has not stopped growing. Currently, the club has a total of 25 teams. Furthermore, following the Villarreal CF model, Primer Toque has this year introduced an EDI (intellectually disabled) team.
The club from Castellón also has an interesting section on their website: www.primertoquecf.com. Under the title ‘De Naranja al Amarillo’ (From Orange to Yellow) Primer Toque interview youngsters who have taken a step forward in their formation by moving to a Villarreal youth side.
Furthermore, it is worth underlining that each season, Primer Toque players train with Villarreal sides. It is a reward for players and will help them continue to grow, both personally and in regards to their football career too. This season, a total of 19 Primer Toque players have trained with different Villarreal teams.
Primer Toque’s mission is to form people and players, and show them how to compete. There is no doubt that they are achieving that.
