Four Villarreal Women players on international duty

Olivia Oprea, Yenifer Giménez, Pancha Lara and Marian Awad will represent their countries

A total of three players from Villarreal Women’s first team, as well as a B-team player, have been called up to represent their countries in the October international break. Olivia Oprea will play for Romania, Yenifer Giménez will feature for Venezuela, Pancha Lara will represent Chile while Marian Awad has been called up by Israel.

Vera Rico has withdrawn from the Spain U19 squad due to injury.

The schedule for the Villarreal Women internationals is as follows:

Olivia Oprea (Romania)

• Switzerland vs Romania: Friday 22^nd October (7pm CEST), Letzigrund (Zurich).

Pancha Lara (Chile)

• Chile vs Colombia: Saturday 23^rd October (2pm CEST), Estadio Pascual Guerrero (Chile).
• Chile vs Colombia: Tuedsay 26^th October (8am CEST), Estadio Pascual Guerrero (Chile).

Yenifer Giménez (Venezuela)

• Ecuador vs Venezuela. Saturday 23^rd October (Stadium and time TBC):

Marian Awad (Israel)

• Israel vs Germany: Thursday 21^st October (5pm CEST), HaMoshava Stadium (Israel).
