Sheila Guijarro, María Cienfuegos, Elena de Toro and Yenifer Giménez have extended their spells with the club for the upcoming 2021/22 season
Villarreal Women have renewed the contracts of striker Sheila Guijarro, midfielder María Cienfuegos, defender Yenifer Giménez and goalkeeper Elena de Toro, who will continue to represent the Yellows for the 2021/22 season.
The Yellows strengthen the spine of the team
Sara Monforte’s team are working to keep some of their most footballers from this historic season, where they were promoted to the top flight of Spanish football. The Submarine have previously renewed the contracts of Lara Mata (defender), Irene Miguélez (defender), Olivia Oprea (defender) and Sara Medina (midfielder). Forward Salma Paralluelo will also stay, as will Sara Monforte, who will lead the Yellows for the next two seasons.
