Villarreal will know its opponent on August 8th and will face it on 21th and 28th of the same month
Now that this fantastic season has finished, with a brilliant qualifying for the Europa League, it’s time to put some key dates looking ahead of the yellows in the tournament. As it finished sixth in La Liga, the Submarine will start the competition in the play-off phase, prior to the running of the group stage. The draw will take place on Friday, August 8th at 13:00 am at the headquarters of the UEFA in Nyon (Switzerland).
The two qualifying games will take place on Thursday 21th (first leg) and a week later, on Thursday 28th. If it qualified, Marcelino’s squad would dispute their first match of the group stage on 18th September (the draw will be held on Friday 29th).
