The presentation of Sansone, Álvaro and Santos Borré took place at the Official Shop in the Plaza Mayor
At midday today the fans gave a warm welcome to Villarreal CF’s latest signings. Sansone, Álvaro and Santos Borré were officially presented by President Fernando Roig in an event celebrated at the Official Shop in the Plaza Mayor (main square) in Vila-real.
After saying their first words as Villarreal players and throwing gifts into the crowd, the three players got closer to the fans by signing autographs and taking photos with them.
The stand out phrases from each of the players at their presentation were the following:
- Álvaro González: “It’s a pleasure to have come to Villarreal. I have taken an important step in my career”.
- Rafael Santos Borré: “I’m happy to be in a club as big as Villarreal. I’m going to give my all”.
- Nicola Sansone: “I’m happy. We have great potential and I’m sure we’ll have a spectacular season. Endavant Villarreal”.
