The Villarreal midfielder underlines the importance of being able to train in small groups this week
Villarreal midfielder Vicente Iborra appeared in front of the club’s official media this lunchtime, after completing Tuesday’s morning training at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva). The Valencian midfielder weighed up the first few weeks of being back at work: “Society is fighting against the virus and the situation is improving. We’ve been able to resume our work and everyone is feeling good after such a long time off. Being able to be with team-mates and training on the pitch is very important for us.”
The Yellows No.10 underlined the importance of starting work in smaller groups, having reached Stage 3 of LaLiga’s training protocol: “After a week of individual work, now we’ve started to work in groups, which feels more normal, there’s a bit more contact and there are group activities, and possession and finishing drills. All of it feels more real. Hopefully we can continue to progress and we’ll be able to work in bigger groups soon.”
