The Villarreal boss recognizes how extremely difficult Saturday’s clash vs FC Barcelona will be (6:30pm)
In today’s press conference, Villarreal CF Manager, Fran Escribá, stressed that tomorrow’s match against FC Barcelona will be “extremely difficult” at the Camp Nou (6:30pm CET): “They’ve scored more than 100 goals in the LaLiga Santander. This statistic alone reflects just how great their strikers are and their squad in general. What’s more, they’ll be fully motivated because they’re playing for the title. For me, it’s the most difficult match of the season”.
Despite that, the Manager believes in his players’ potential to go and get the win at the Camp Nou: “The team is having a very good end to the season, the players are confident. We have arguments going into the game that a draw isn’t enough for us. We want to win”. To achieve that, the Submarine boss opts for combining “counterattacks” with “strategical attacking play”.
