During the 2016-2017 season 27 towns were promoted at the Estadio de la Cerámica
Endavant Provincia continues to promote tourism in the province of Castellón in an unrivaled setting: the Estadio de la Cerámica. For the third consecutive season, this initiative has collaborated with the province to boost economic and cultural activity, spread its products, and promote the best destinations in the area.
During the 2016-2017 season, 27 towns in the province showed off their charm. Towns promoted this season include: Vinaròs, Vila-real, Benicarló, Vall d’Uixó, Burriana, l’Alcora, Onda, Nules, Almenara, Betxí, Endavant Els Ports (Cinctorres, Forcall, Vilafranca, La Mata, Castell de Cabres, Vallibona, Herbes, Castellfort, Tolodella, Olocau, Morella, Palanques, Zorita, Villores and Vallibona), Oropesa del Mar, and Segorbe.
In total, 7,200 residents within the area attended a match at the Estadio de la Cerámica during the season. Additionally, more than 700 of them were musicians who had the opportunity to play several pieces outside the Yellows stadium to entertain the fans.
Villarreal CF has once again offered all its means to showcase the touristic beauties of each location. By doing this, the club continues to be an ambassador of the province at the highest level of Spanish football. Furthermore, Villarreal CF has expanded its horizons with the presence of foreign fans.
As a novelty, the club also introduced Marcos Senna’s training sessions this season. The former Yellow player and five coaches from the youth teams travelled a week prior to each match. The mission was to impact the lives of young football players in different areas of the province. With the help of each municipality, the club promoted these training sessions through video board games during the match.
Endavant Província recorded nearly 87,000 visits online. For YouTube – 23,901 views, Facebook – 178,519 views, and Twitter – 34,326 views. In total, 236,746 people watched clips shown on Villarreal TV.
