Villarreal CF has made it possible for its season-ticket holders to free up their seats. The club has launched the Season-Ticket Holder’s Portal, a new space where members who cannot attend an upcoming match will have the option of releasing their season ticket so that the club can put it on sale.
In this way, if the seat is sold, season ticket holders will receive 40% of the ticket price. This discount will be applied to the price of the season ticket for the upcoming 2023/24 campaign.
*IMPORTANT: Villarreal CF will continue to reward the attendance of its season-ticket holders above all other initiatives, such as freeing seats. This is the club’s philosophy, and it was a pioneer in applying it. However, the club offers this option so that season ticket holders can benefit from a discount if they are unable to attend a specific match.

How do I access my private area?
To access the portal, subscribers must enter the following data: USER PASSWORD (full season ticket ID) and PIN (last four digits of the season ticket number for the current 2022/23 season). If you do not yet have these codes, you can obtain them at the Official Stores.
Free your seat and if the ticket is sold you receive 40% of its price
Once access to this private portal has been completed, season-ticket holders will have the opportunity to free their seat in case they are unable to attend any of Villarreal’s upcoming matches. Once this has been confirmed, the club will put the seat on sale and only if it is sold will the season-ticket holder receive 40% of the price of the ticket for the match in their respective area of the pitch in order to renew their pass for the following season.
Who can take advantage of this service?
All season-ticket holders except those in Casals Grocs, Casals Blaus, Súper Tribuna and Palco VIP, who will not be able to give up their seats.
Can I apply for the seat to be freed and cancel it if I change my mind?
Season-ticket holders can manage the liberation of their season ticket. From this very moment, the club will have it available for sale through the official channels (ticket offices, online sales and official shops). If they change their mind, season-ticket holders can cancel the release if the ticket has not been sold up to 2 hours before the start of each match.
On the other hand, if the sale has been completed, season-ticket holders will no longer be able to recover their seats.
How am I reimbursed for the price of my ticket?
Villarreal CF will discount the season-ticket holder 40% of the ticket price as long as it has been sold. This discount will be applied when renewing your season ticket for next season.
What is the maximum discount I can get by releasing the seat?

1. GOLD season ticket holders will enjoy a maximum of 50% discount on the price of their season ticket for the upcoming 23/24 season.
2. The rest of season-ticket holders will be able to reduce the price of their pass up to the price of the GOLD season ticket in their respective area of the pitch increased by 25%.
Examples:
- GOLD season ticket case: If the GOLD season ticket in my area next season costs 140 euros, the maximum discount that will be applied will be 70 euros. Final price of the season ticket: 70 euros.
- General season ticket case: If the general season ticket in my area next season costs 235 euros and the Gold 125 euros, the maximum discount that will be applied will be 79 euros. Final price of the season ticket: 156 euros.
If I release my ticket, does the attendance count for next season?
No. If season-ticket holders release their season ticket, the match will not be counted as attended. It is worth remembering that Villarreal CF encourages season -ticket holders to attend matches and rewards them with the best discounts on the renewal of their passes when they miss a maximum of three matches and become GOLD category season ticket holders.
Will I be able to track my released sears?
Yes, in the private area of the Season Ticket Holder’s Portal, season-ticket holders will be able to track the number of transfers made and how much will be deducted from their season ticket price for the upcoming 23/24 season.
