Toko Ekambi calls for unity in the changing room to improve results
The Villarreal CF forward, Karl Toko Ekambi, has assured this afternoon that the best way to approach the next matches is with daily work and togetherness in the changing room: “We know that we have to improve. We want to overcome this bad phase and we will do it together. All teams go through moments like this throughout the season. The most important thing is to continue working together to improve. I am sure we will do it because we are training well”.
It should be remembered that Toko Ekambi received the LaLiga October Player of the Month award before the match against RC Celta. During that month, Toko Ekambi scored three goals, which had a direct impact on the Yellows’ victories against RCD Espanyol (0-1) and Deportivo Alavés (4-1). Two great performances saw the Yellow No.17 come out on top for this award, ahead of Lucas Pérez (Deportivo Alavés) and Rui Silva (Granada CF), who were both nominated.
Toko Ekambi appealed to the fans for the future: “We need the fans. If they are with us we will give all we can on the pitch and we will get points”.
