The Submarine supporters welcome Pablo Fornals in style
He is now a ‘groguet’. The new Villarreal midfielder was presented to fans at the official shop in the Plaça Major this evening, in an event that saw hundreds of fans gather to welcome the footballer and was led by the Yellows’ CEO, Fernando Roig Negueroles.
During the presentation, the Fornals stated that he is really excited upon his arrival to the Submarine, where he already played for five seasons as a part of the Yellows Academy years ago. “For me it is a privilege to be here, I really like the project Villarreal has set out on and I can’t wait to be able to contribute to the team. I think coming back to this club is one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I’m close to home and I want to form part of a big project like this”.
The midfielder, at just 21 years old, is one of the real pearls of Spanish football and highlighted that he is ready to play whenever the Manager requires him. “Everything has happened so fast, but I was already training full out in preseason in Holland and I’m ready to play. If the Manager needs me, I’m ready. I want to keep growing as a footballer and I think Villarreal is the perfect place for me to do that”.
