Villarreal CF already know their first opponent in the Copa del Rey. The Submarine will face Chiclana CF, from Group 1 of the Andalusian División de Honor, in the first knockout round of the knockout competition following the draw held on Tuesday at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas.
The tie will be played as a single match at the Cadiz side’s ground between 31st October and 2nd November (date and time to be confirmed). The duel will be the first step on the road to the exciting final of the Copa del Rey, which will be held on 6th April at the Estadio de La Cartuja.
