Villarreal Women will return to the Primera Iberdrola next season. The squad celebrated by taking part in a fun cooking course with Herbolario Navarro, the club’s official food supplier. Sara Monforte’s players learnt the basics of nutrition to help them improve their performance on the pitch.
Sandra Asensio, head of marketing at Herbolario Navarro, stresses that natural health and nutrition are “very important”, something that Villarreal CF also agrees with. For her part, Elena de Toro, Villarreal CF player, was satisfied with the course, stating that in nutrition, “quality is more important than quantity.”
