Sergio Asenjo is confident that Villarreal will soon return to their best
The Villarreal CF goalkeeper, Sergio Asenjo, has assured this afternoon that the latest result against RCD Mallorca should serve as motivation for the team to improve for the immediate future: “Sunday’s match hurt our pride. Now it’s time for us to show our character and our best qualities. It has to have a positive impact on us. I’m sure that you’ll see Villarreal back to our best again. We must move on, but learn from our mistakes. All we can do is work as hard as possible”.
For the Submarine No.1, the next challenge is enormous: “We are going to prepare for the game in the best way possible. Celta Vigo, after their managerial change, will come here with high ambitions. It will be very difficult because they are a great team. We are going to focus on ourselves in order to show us at our best”.
