The Aragonese midfielder looked back at his time as a Villarreal player in a fun chat with Marcos Senna

Two Yellows legends meet once more. Former Villarreal captain and current member of the club’s Institutional Relations department, Marcos Senna, has interviewed his former team-mate Rubén Gracia Calmache (Cani) via a video call.

Senna has been interviewing some of the most emblematic footballers from Villarreal CF history. So far, he has spoken to Josico, as well as having a special conversation in which Robert Pirès, Juan Román Riquelme, Diego Forlán and Rodolfo Arruabarrena took part.

A fans’ favourite

Rubén Gracia Calmache Cani (Zaragoza, 3rd August 1981) played 327 games with Villarreal CF, the sixth player with most games in the club’s history in the elite. He joined the Submarine in 2006, and represented the Yellows until 2015, becoming a fans’ favourite.

The interview with Cani became a friendly chat between two friends. Enjoy it (in Spanish), by clicking play.
