Villarreal manager Javi Calleja was satisfied with the hard work put in by his players in the match against Real Madrid at the Estadio de la Cerámica. A point that could, and perhaps should, have been three. “It’s a step forward. From the start we grew. In this third match, we competed very well. Football is football and there are surprises. We did enough to get the win,” he commented.
