Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with forward Belén Martínez, who will join the women’s first team for the 2021/22 season. The attacker arrives as a free agent after leaving CD Santa Teresa, where she had spent the previous three campaigns.

Belén Martínez Sousa (24/11/1988) is a player who can play up front or as a winger. The forward is capable of finding spaces, causing danger in front of goal, and gives her all for the team. She previously played forLlanos de Olivenza, Cáceres, Extremadura FCF and Extremadura UD.

With the arrival of Martínez, Sara Monforte’s side have ended their transfer activity for the summer, after renewing 13 contracts and bringing in ten new players. This is how the squad looks:
