The Yellows’ number 17, who scored 6 goals in October, will receive the award before the Sevilla match
Well-deserved recognition. Cédric Bakambu has been named the LaLiga Santander Player of the Month for October. The French-Congolese striker, who has had a fantastic start to the season, is one of the key players in Javi Calleja’s side. Bakambu’s six goals against SD Eibar (3), FC Girona (2) and UD Las Palmas (1) have been vital for Villarreal to put together a good run of results and have deservedly earned the number 17 this recognition by LaLiga.
The Yellow Submarine striker will pick up this important award prior to the match against Sevilla FC (6:30pm CET) in front of Yellows fans at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
