The Villarreal B forward gifted his shirt to Guillem García, who brought a sign for the Canarian attacker to the game against CE Sabadell
A classy touch. Villarreal B forward Juan Carlos Arana went to the Prebenjamín E training session to surprise Guillem García Orenga, one of his biggest fans. The youngster from Vila-real took a banner supporting the forward to the Mini Estadi on Saturday. Arana, after seeing a photo on social media, deiceded to gift the young fan a shirt.
The Canary Islander asked for help on social networks to find Guillem and be able to give him a special gift. Yellows fans got in touch and in just a few minutes they helped find Guillem’s dad. “When the match was over, I looked at my phone and saw the picture of Guillem and I wanted to give him my shirt, but when I left the ground, he had already gone. Through social media, fans helped us find his dad to give him a surprise,” explained Arana.
To give him the shirt, Arana went to a Prebenjamín E training session, to be able to say hello to the academ player and personally give him the gift. A dream come true for the youngster, who got a photo with the B-team’s goalscorer. The rest of his team-mates also got a photo with Villarreal B’s top scorer, who stayed to watch the training session.
After Arana’s gift, Guillem’s dad, Vicente García, wanted to thank the player: “He’s his favourite Villareal B player. It’s absolutely incredible for Guillem. He was very excited to see Arana at his training sesión. We want to thank him a lot and we will put the shirt somewhere very special in his bedroom.”
