The goalkeeper has made a full recovery from the anterior cruciate ligament tear in his right knee
Villarreal CF goalkeeper, Andrés Fernández, was given the all-clear from medical staff this morning after recovering from tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, an injury he sustained at the Anoeta Stadium against Real Sociedad on LaLiga Matchday 2 (25th August).
Andrés Fernández underwent a successful operation on 5th September 2017 by doctor Pedro Luis Ripoll at the Centro de Excelencia FIFA Ripoll y de Prado Quirón in Murcia. It should also be mentioned that the goalkeeper has been training with the group for several weeks waiting to receive this all-clear from the doctor to be able to compete.
