This weekend, there were successful celebrations at the Estadio de la Cerámica for the Casa Ronald McDonald charity in Valencia, in which hundreds of fans were able to enjoy all sorts of activities. The event, organised by Radio Vila-real, was attended by the ex-player and current member of the Institutional Relations department at the club, Marcos Senna.
Three days of pure entertainment for the whole Villarreal family with music acts, exhibitions, workshops, DJ’s, a huge paella… Everything was done in an effort to raise money for the Casa Ronald McDonald, since a large charity raffle was also held with dozens of gifts.
Casa Ronald McDonald de Valencia, located next to the La Fe Hosptal, is looking to become a “home away from home” for all kids outside Valencia who need treatment from hospitals in the city. The Kids Fundación Infantil Ronald McDonald has had one main aim since it opened in 1997 in Spain: to build and maintain homes close to the best paediatric hospitals throughout the country.
