

The Yellows equalized against Almazora with a great header from Sena
Carlos Pérez Salvachúa’s side took a point from the thrilling derby against Almazora at the Mini Estadi at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva). The Yellows were chasing the game from the start after a defensive error early on, but in the end they managed to equalize and take away a point thanks to a great header from centre back Sena moments before the final whistle. The visitors organization defensively was commendable and they finished with a hard fought draw.
The black and whites went ahead after only five minutes on the clock. Andrés took advantage of a bad pass out the back by the Yellows and smashed the ball past Diego Fuoli.
The Submarine’s third team then dominated the game from start to finish, looking for the equalizer and having numerous chances on goal. In fact, Akale and Simón both hit the woodwork. The Villarreal C team did not manage to turn the score line around but they did take away a point, thanks to a goal in the 82nd minute. Maldo crossed the ball in from deep on the left wing and Sena scored a fantastic header at the far post, unstoppable for the Almazora goalkeeper.
The Villarreal C team’s next rival is Recambios Colón.
