The young attacker returns to the Yellows to add firepower to Villarreal Women’s attack
Villarreal CF have reached an agreement for the transfer of Aixa Salvador, who will represent the Yellows for the 201/22 season. The footballer from Castellón de la Plana joins from Real Betis after playing in Primera Iberdrola last season.
Danger in the area for the Yellows
Aixa Salvador García (12/10/2001) returns to the club that was her home for nine years. She joined the academy as a youngster, playing for the women’s B team aged just 13 years old. The versatility of the young attacker, added to her natural talent to create danger in the box, helped her become part of the women’s first team aged 14.
The forward, who has already played under Sara Monforte, was part of the side that was promoted to Reto Iberdrola in the 2018/19 season. After playing in the top flight of women’s football with Real Betis, Aixa returns home to continue growing at Villarreal Women. In her second spell with the Yellows, she will bring directness, intensity, explosivity, versatility on the wings, and above all, commitment and knowledge of the club.
Aixa Salvador, despite her young age, has already stood out internally. She has won the European U17 Championship and U17 World Cup with Spain U17s.
