The midfielder from Palencia continues with Villarreal Women
Villarreal CF and Ainoa Campo Franco (17/06/1996, Calahorra de Boedo, Palencia) have reached a renewal agreement so that the midfielder from Palencia will continue to wear the Villarreal Women’s shirt next season. Ainoa will thus remain linked to Villarreal CF until 30 June 2023.
The midfielder arrived at Villarreal Women this season, coinciding with the debut of the ‘groguetes’ in Primera Iberdrola. The Palencia-born player has brought class to the midfield, knowing how to control the tempo of the game to perfection. Ainoa has played a total of 23 games, starting 20 of them.
The player from Palencia becomes the thirteenth Villarreal Women player for the 2022/23 season. Ainoa Campo is joined by Tere Morató, Sheila Guijarro, Lara Mata, Irene Miguélez, Vera Rico, Elena de Toro, Belén Martínez, Yenifer Giménez, María Cienfuegos, Paola Soldevila, Nerea Pérez and Pancha Lara.
