Villarreal CF sign the Colombian striker and transfer the midfielder from Málaga
Villarreal CF and AC Milan have come to an agreement for the transfer of Carlos Bacca and Samu Castillejo. The Colombian forward signs for the Yellow Submarine for the next four seasons, while the midfielder from Málaga joins the ‘rossonero’ side. The exact date for the press conference presentation of Carlos Bacca will be announced in the coming days.

Carlos Bacca (Puerto Colombia, 08/09/1986) played for Villarreal CF on loan last season in what was a successful campaign for the Colombian, scoring 18 goals and providing 7 assists in 43 matches.
The Colombian started his football career playing for the Atlético Junior youth teams. From there, he went on to play for Barranquilla FC, Minervén FC, Club Brujas, Sevilla FC and AC Milan. Throughout his professional career he has scored 183 goals in 379 games. An established goal scorer.
Bacca is an international player for the Colombia national team, with whom he played in the Russia 2018 World Cup this past summer. During his international career Bacca has played 48 matches for the Senior national team and scored 14 goals. Welcome back, Bacca!
