There will be a new edition of Groc Talent and ‘3v3 Groguet’ before the tribute to Roberto Bautista
Villarreal CF, alongside Vila-real Council, have prepared a number of activities for the build-up of this Friday’s game against Atlético Madrid at the Estadio de la Cerámica (9pm CET).
There will be a new edition of the ‘3v3 Groguet’ tournament, with Salesianos de Burriana, CF Rafalafena and Andiamo Vila-real taking part; the fourth edition of the Groc Talent competition with the performance of La era del pez at the Fan Zone will also take place; and at the APV (Official Supporters’ Group), there will also be a great atmosphere, with the Furia Amarilla fan club, from Vila-real, taking centre stage from 7:40pm CET.
Roberto Bautista’s honorary kick-off
Villarreal CF will pay tribute to tennis player Roberto Bautista, who will take in the honorary kick-off before the match between the Yellows and Atlético Madrid at the Estadio de la Cerámica. The sportsman, from Castellón, recently won the Davis Cup with Spain.
La era del pez, in Groc Talent
This Friday, it’s the fourth edition of the Groc Talent competition at the Estadio de la Cerámica Fan Zone, with La era del pez’s performance, from 8pm. Groc Talent is the product of the collaboration agreement between Villarreal CF and SanSan Festival, as part of Endavant Cultura. A total of nine groups will take part and the winner will be rewarded with the prize of performing at the festival in Benicàssim in 2020. They’re a pop-rock group from Vila-real, formed in 2015 and made up of R3DBEARD (singer and guitar), Miguel (drums) and Pedro (keyboard).
Currently, La era del pez are recording their first EP, although they have already unveiled Luna y champagne. The group is mainly known online (Instagram, Apple Music, Spotify), with big success in Latin America and Spain. You can vote for your favourite artists after their performance here: GROC TALENT.
This Friday’s schedule is as follows:
- 7pm CET: The Fan Zone gets underway with the 3v3 Groguet tournament. Salesianos de Burriana, CF Rafalafena and Andiamo Vila-real will take part.
- 7:40pm CET: Start of the APV party, with the Furia Amarilla fan club from Vila-real taking centre stage.
- 8pm CET: La era del pez perform in the Fan Zone as part of the fourth edition of Groc Talent.
