Villarreal will pay tribute to the champions from the Yellows Academy at half-time
Villarreal CF has organised a series of events to take place before and at half-time of the match against Atlético de Madrid at the Estadio de la Cerámica (Sunday, 6.30pm).
El Globet Groguet competition
The second edition of the Globet Groguet charity competition, organised by the Conquistando Escalones charity, will kick off at 4pm in the Fan Zone of the Estadio de la Cerámica. This championship, which is part of the Endavant Solidaritat initiative, consists of the traditional game in which the balloon does not touch the ground. The matches will take place on a 3v3 field full of obstacles. The winners will win prizes such as Villarreal CF shirts signed by the first team, tickets for the match against Atlético de Madrid, tickets to PortAventura and gastronomic experiences at El Ceramista, Quesomentero and NU.
Nicolas Jackson will receive the Player of the Month award for May
Villarreal CF’s Senegalese striker, Nicolas Jackson, will receive the LaLiga Santander ‘Player of the Month’ award for May. The Yellows No.15 will be able to receive the applause of his fans at the Estadio de la Cerámica just before the start of the match against Atlético de Madrid.
The attacker has scored five goals and shared two assists in his games against Valencia, Athletic, Girona, Cádiz and Rayo Vallecano. Impressive figures that have earned him this prestigious award. It is the first award won by a Yellows player this season. Before the match against Atlético de Madrid, Nico Jackson will receive this trophy from Marcos Senna, ambassador and Villarreal legend.
ASISA competition at half-time
Fans watching the match in the stands at the Estadio de la Cerámica will be able to take part in a fun competition organised by ASISA, Villarreal CF’s official medical provider. This will take place at half-time and fans will simply have to scan a QR code that will appear on the video scoreboards to take part.
Tribute to the champions from the Yellows Academy
The club will pay tribute to the teams from the Yellows Academy that have been proclaimed champions this season at half-time of the Villarreal vs Atlético de Madrid match. They are the ‘Infantil B’, ‘Alevín C’, ‘Alevín D’ and ‘Benjamín Roda A’ teams. All of them will be presented and photographed on the pitch of the Estadio de la Cerámica, receiving applause from the Yellows’ fans.
