Artjoms Butriks joins the Juvenil B team
Latvian youngster Artjoms Butriks has become the first player linked to the Villarreal Academy initiative to join a leading Yellows Academy team. The teenager has joined the leading U17s team (Juvenil B) and will be part of the side for the 2024/25 season.
Butriks has been part of the Villarreal Academy programme since the 2021/22 season, and his future development will continue at Miralcamp as part of one of the leading football academies worldwide.
The Villarreal Academy programme sees the Yellows share their academy values and methodology with youngsters and coaches around the world, helping them develop both as a player and as a person.
